Meet the Owners

The St. Nicholas' - Ms. Christina, Mr. Bobby & Gianni

Hi, my name is Christina St. Nicholas and I started my journey with Kiddie Academy International in September 1998. I applied for a part-time position while I was completing dual degrees at St. Joseph's College in Elementary Education Kindergarten through 6th grade and human relations. I immediately fell in love with the close contact I had with helping and nurturing the children, as well as communicating and guiding parents through child development. It was at this time I realized being a part of the Kiddie Academy family was where I wanted to be. 1999 was a huge turning point in my life. July 4th 1999, I married my husband and September 1999 I was offered a full-time Pre-K teacher position for Kiddie Academy. It was during that school year that I fell in love with all that Kiddie Academy and its curriculum had to offer children and families. In January 2002, I knew that there was so much more I could give Kiddie Academy families and began my search for director positions of new schools in the area. In September 2002, that dream came true and I was blessed to be part of the grand opening of Kiddie Academy of Wading River as its Director. 20 years after this journey began, the opportunity to not just be Kiddie Academy's Director, but the owner and director of my school, staff and students fell upon me. Although I have always owned this school with all of my heart and soul, I knew fate was allowing me to not only keep my school on its 20 year path, but bring it to even newer and better levels as well. Supported by my husband, son, family, friends and all of my Kiddie Academy parents and staff, I instantly jumped at the opportunity. Now as Owner and Director, I can not only secure Kiddie Academy's past but start my "no limits" journey for all who walk through my doors. My promise is to always be on staff, active, present and available for all the parents, students and teachers. I not only want to ensure the highest level of childcare and education, but want to be sure everyone is treated like family. Looking forward to the day your family can become part of ours!
