Sleeping through the night is only a sweet dream when you have a newborn. In fact, newborn infants will dictate their own schedule as they acclimate to life outside the womb. With a newborn, sleeping through the night can feel impossible—but we promise, it gets better! Around 3 to 5 months, babies begin developing sleep patterns. That’s a great time to start introducing a calming bedtime routine.

Simple Sleep Routine Tips:

• Warm bath – Calms baby and signals bedtime. Limit to 3 times a week for infants.

• Feeding – Offer a bottle in a dimly lit room, but avoid putting baby to bed with it.
